About these terms

These terms cover use of tarseem.co and orders placed with TARSEEM for handcrafted tiles and architectural surfaces. Placing an order means accepting them.

Handcrafted variation

TARSEEM tiles are hand-poured, pigmented and finished individually. Variation in tone, surface and edge between tiles, and between batches, is inherent to the process and is not a defect. Samples indicate character rather than guaranteeing an exact match, so order a single batch for one continuous area wherever possible, and allow a margin over your measured area for cuts, wastage and later repairs.

Quotes and orders

Each quotation states its own validity period, prices and payment schedule. An order is confirmed once the deposit set out in that quotation is received. Bespoke and custom-colour work begins only after you approve a sample in writing.

Lead times

Lead times depend on the material, the quantity and whether the work is bespoke. We confirm a lead time with your quotation and keep you updated as production proceeds. Lead times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and we will tell you promptly if one changes.

Cancellation and returns

Bespoke and custom-colour orders are made specifically for you and cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started. For stocked items, talk to us as early as possible — what is possible depends on how far the order has progressed.

Check your delivery on arrival and tell us about any shortage or transit damage before installation begins, with photographs. Claims are much harder to resolve once tiles have been laid.

Installation

Cement tiles require sealing before and after grouting. TARSEEM is not liable for staining, cracking or discolouration caused by installation that departs from our guidance, by unsuitable substrates, or by inappropriate cleaning products. Ask us if you are unsure — we would rather advise beforehand than assess damage after.

Pattern designs, names, reference codes, photography and this site's content remain the property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced without permission.
